Visited AMS for the first time having recently purchased a 987 Cayman and thought I'd heard a noise suggesting something wasn't quite right. Angus took me into the workshop and walked me through a thorough inspection of the car. He highlighted what may need attention over time but assured me that everything was absolutely fine for the time being. My Porsche 997 has been in for a major service and wheel alignment with AMS recently and I felt that the car was also holding back, After an initial inspection by the lads I had a phone call and was told that the problem was the MAF. A new MAF was fitted and on collection they had also reattached my sun visor and straightened the wonky number plates. On the way home it was like driving a different car I think the MAF had been a problem for a while, and it felt so much better holding the road so all in all a great experience and my Porsche will be going nowhere apart from AMS Porsche a big thank you!”
